Which Is Your Stream? ( SOCIETY'S FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION )

 ARTS/HUMANITIES ( SOCIETY'S FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION )

INTRODUCTION

If you are a student of 10th standard and reading this article, so I must say please read it carefully, and avoid the mistakes of relying on others to take your life decisions. And if you are a student of 12 or have completed your schooling then please read it and try to compare it with your lives and spot the errors you did in your school life.
I hope I will be reaching your hearts through my way of writings. And if I would have been able to do so, please subscribe to the blog to read more and stay tuned with my feelings.

What Is Arts?

The most underrated stream of studies especially in the Convent Schools, Yes its, none other than- Arts. It is the most criticised subject in schools. Its normally said that "jise kuch nhi ata woh Arts krlo", but it is the most absurd thing. Even the teachers in the schools spread stereotypes in the 10th standard, classifying the students in different streams according to their level of intelligence. This hierarchical stereotype in the schools (especially in the 10th standard), is the concept that demotivates a student and demolishes the students future. As you read further, you will be reading the value of interests and decisions you take on your own for your future. I am very offended by society's floccinaucinihilipilification of this amazing subject.

Stereotypical Well

A student or a young brain who have just crossed the border of the major 10th standard, or is about to cross the border and is thinking to study about Indian History, Sociology, Ethics etc., suddenly starts drowning in a stereotypical well generated by his/her society; "Kya tu Arts Rkh Rha Hai?", "Are Arts Mat Rakh Log Kya Kheege?". Society includes everyone, who surrounds a student. The last few decades have altered these streams into the level of bits of intelligence. The indispensable is always of the friends and the mates in the class and the seniors, more than that parents are the one who defenestrates this stream from a pupil's heart.

And on the very flip side, we start shouting; "Always join your interests, to achieve something". Really, are we finding our child's interest and motivating them to go and rock up that interest? The clear cut answer is NO. We never let our child express his kind of things, rather we go out and find where is the big bag of money. This is our bitter truth. If you had done this to your child and reading it now, then you must be regretting yourself.

Parents and Children Relationship

Now, where are the parents lacking? No doubt every parent is very aware of their child's future. But instead of finding their interests, we start diverting them to our written script. Rather than creating our will, if we should build a strong relationship with our child. This will help us to know more about our child and we can easily invest and work on the specific parts to uplift and enhance our child. This is what we don't do. We are just following our society's tips and forcing our child to work on them.

Are we such dumb that we can't see what is our child path and in which thread of interests his mind is going to work? Just start knowing your child yourself, rather watching Sharma ji ka beta earning a lot and forcing your child in that specific field of Sharma ji ka beta.

This is where we are lacking. You (the parents) Have to spend your huge amount on your child, so start investing in your child's interest instead of investing in society's thoughts. You need returns of your investment, which your child will only give when he will study what he wants to, not what society wants. Otherwise, you will always be in a pang of guilt.
